Walter Hunger GmbH & Co. KG Hydraulikzylinderwerk in Lohr, like our corporate group, the Hunger Group, was founded by Dr.-Ing. E. h. Walter Hunger. From the very beginning, however, Dr.-Ing. E. h. Walter Hunger placed great emphasis on the complete legal independence of Dr. Walter Hunger Holding GmbH & Co. KG (registered with the Würzburg Local Court under HRA 5899) and all of its affiliated companies from Walter Hunger GmbH & Co. KG Hydraulic Cylinder Works in Lohr.
The Group consists of three pillars, clearly demonstrating this legal separation. This legal separation is also reflected in the companies’ locations and their various product portfolios. For instance, the headquarters of Dr. Walter Hunger Holding GmbH & Co. KG is in Würzburg. Many of our group companies are also headquartered in Würzburg or are located at our international sites. Finally, the Hunger Group has a different product portfolio than Walter Hunger GmbH & Co. KG Hydraulikzylinderwerk in Lohr, with the latter’s focus, as is well known, being on the manufacture of custom-made large and special cylinders.
Due to this independence, our corporate group is in no way legally affected by the self-administration of Walter Hunger GmbH & Co. KG Hydraulikzylinderwerk in Lohr. Our corporate group continues to be successfully managed by Ms. Ingrid Hunger, Lic. oec. (HSG), and other managing directors.
